Welcome to Bubble Babies! We offer you and your baby the best start in swimming. Our structured swimming programme develops your child to become a confident and happy swimmer. Bubble Babies has over 10 years experience in the industry and has used this vast knowledge to tailor make our baby swimming programme using the industry’s most current research, but we don’t just stop there..! Each course will build on previously learnt skills to create a baby led progression through your Bubble Baby journey which includes our special make believe sensory weeks where we take a trip to outer space, climb aboard a pirate ship and even swing like monkeys in the jungle and this is just the beginning!
Bubble Academy
Whether your child has moved up from our Bubble Babies programme or are simply not progressing in their current class, Bubble Academy offers a perfect place for them to shine. Our classes are fun, supportive and tailor made to your child to teach water safety, confidence and correct swim stroke techniques from the current STA and Swim England guidelines. We recognise that each child learns in different ways and we nurture these skills to ensure they reach their full potential. Our school age programme is specifically designed over 3 levels, we develop water safety, confidence, and key swimming techniques including breathing, floatation, rotation, streamlining, kicks and pulls, as well as learning the 4 major stokes.
Bubble Babies is a small family run business which is ran by sisters Natalie and Charlotte.
We started our journey into the world of baby swimming through taking our own children and found a passion and love for water. We believe that it’s the personal touch that matters which is why our classes offer teacher consistency so that we build strong relationships to help your child’s success in their swim journey. Here’s a little bit about us!
Hi! I’m Natalie!
I started baby swimming 14 years ago with my first daughter Issy, after falling in love with my weekly classes I soon became a qualified teacher and co-managed a swim school for 10 years. During that time I went on to have a further two children Harry and Freya and I have enjoyed watching each of my children grow to love the water. Issy, my eldest , is now a competitive swimmer who swims for the City of Leicester performance club, and my youngest Freya swims for Penguins Swimming Club. Since being introduced to competitive swimming I have qualified to volunteer as a Team Manager and a British Swimming Official! Not only do I love the pool, I have also thrown myself into open water swimming.
Hi! I am Charlotte!
I started my love for education and teaching back at university and went on to qualify as a primary school teacher, I taught in KS1 for 6 years and loved working closely with children and their families. When my two children, Ruby and Owen, were babies I loved taking them to their weekly swimming sessions, I found that it was extremely rewarding and fell in love with baby swimming. I went on to qualify as a baby and preschool swimming teacher and absolutely love my job. I find it so rewarding to watch children grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love for water, like my children have, and to pass that knowledge onto future generations.

The pool is a hydrotherapy pool so runs at a toasty 33/34 degrees and has both male and female changing rooms.

Westgate pool is a special hydrotherapy pool with sensory lighting, it runs at a warm 34 degrees, there is ample parking available on site and large male and female changing rooms.

Set in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, Grace Dieu pool is set in a private estate with ample parking right outside the door. The pool runs at 31/32c with large male and female changing rooms available.

Cropston Private Pool
Cropston private pool is an intimate pool with small class sizes. Pool runs at 31C with street parking outside. Please note this pool is deeper than our other venues.
Monday 9:45am-11:45am & Tuesday 10:00am-11:30am
