Covid-19

Covid -19

We understand and respect that people have their own opinions and feelings on the pandemic and everyone has been affected differently by it.  We must continue to respect each other’s views and work together to keep everyone safe.  We have made some small changes and will continue to review these going forward, the main change to our guidelines and one we know many of you are waiting for is we are happy to welcome one spectator per baby to watch the class from poolside.  Please keep poolside noise to a minimum.

Please continue to arrive beach ready for your class and enter the building no more than 5 minutes before your lesson is due to start.  This is important to minimise numbers on the poolside.  Social distancing and mask wearing is still strongly advised.

When you enter poolside you can sit wherever you would like, however please keep your distance and keep your belongings together to allow others space to sit. Once your class has finished you can continue to use the changing room but try to keep changing time to a minimum.  Spectators are not allowed in the changing room as space is very limited, we ask that they wait outside after your class has finished.

During your class we will be replacing your Covid hoops with markers to ensure social distancing whilst using the wall.  Equipment will be handed out during the activities, please feel free to submerge your equipment before use.  We are excited to be using treasure island more this term, however we will continue to split the class to reduce numbers around the float.

We are hoping to incorporate lots of activities that we have been unable to do due to the strict coronavirus restrictions, however we understand that some may feel apprehensive.  If at any time during our classes this is the case, please do let us know.

Please be assured that your safety is our priority and therefore we will still have:

  • Two designated Covid-19 officers at every pool
  • Reduced class sizes
  • Poolside assistant to clean poolside and changing rooms
  • Hand sanitiser available at entry and exit points
  • QR codes available for scanning
  • Social distancing and mask wearing is still strongly advised

If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, have been asked to self isolate, have a member of your household test positive or have travelled from a country requiring quarantine, please do not attend your lesson and let us know.

Please review the relevant COVID-19 safety video below prior to attending your first class;
